[url href=&#8221;http:\/\/youtu.be\/bS_t26V38NU&#8221; target=&#8221;_blank&#8221;]http:\/\/youtu.be\/bS_t26V38NU[\/url]<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Skinless boneless chicken breast, cut into half and pounded thinly<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Egg , beaten<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">16 Bacon slices, thick cut<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">8 Ham slices (apple wood smoked ham used)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 Cup (16 tbs) Fried onion flakes<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 Large, thick slices Provolone cheese slices<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Rainbow peppercorns, to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Prepare the smoker.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">On a flat surface, place one half of the flattened chicken breast, place two pieces of smoked ham on it and arrange a piece of provolone cheese in the center.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Sprinkle with pepper and roll the chicken breast as shown in the video.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Dip each roll in the beaten egg and then in the fried onions to coat evenly.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Prepare a weave with the bacon slices and place the chicken roll in the center. Neatly wrap the bacon slices around the chicken and secure with a toothpick. Repeat with the remaining chicken breast and create 3 more rolls.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">You can sprinkle the remaining onion on top.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place them in the smoker at 225 degrees.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">It might take anywhere between 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending upon the thickness of the chicken.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">The how about smoked bacon wrapped chicken cordon bleu for Super Bowl?<br \/>\nThat\u2019s right, Super Bowl Sunday, chicken cordon bleu on the Cooking Everything Outdoors show.<br \/>\nGary House with the outdoor cook Cooking Everything Outdoors show, I hope you try this at home.<br \/>\nNow, this isn\u2019t a traditional chicken cordon bleu.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s just my version, something I like to do.<br \/>\nAnd of course, the star\u2019s going to be chicken breast and this is two breasts, which I have cut in half and pounded out thinly.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll need one egg.<br \/>\nSome nice thick cut bacon.<br \/>\nYou\u2019ll need 3 to 4 slices for each.<br \/>\nThis is honey\u2026 no, excuse me, applewood smoked natural ham.<br \/>\nI have some wonderful fried onion crisp pieces.<br \/>\nI have some nice thick slices of provolone, traditionally it\u2019s Swiss, but I like the provolone in mine.<br \/>\nNo salt whatsoever.<br \/>\nThere\u2019s enough in the bacon and ham.<br \/>\nAnd then I\u2019ll be using some fresh ground black\u2026 or actually, these are rainbow peppercorns which I prefer.<br \/>\nNow is a good time to fire up the smoker before we start building our chicken cordon bleus.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s put this together.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to do multiple steps here.<br \/>\nTake your a thin chicken breast and you want to just put a couple slices of ham in there.<br \/>\nAnd a good solid piece of your provolone.<br \/>\nAnd then I will sprinkle a little bit of pepper on the inside here.<br \/>\nAnd then basically what we want to do is to roll this up and like a cube or a ball.<br \/>\nEach one\u2019s going to be a little bit different because of the size of the breasts and how you skillfully cut this.<br \/>\nBut this is as simple as the filling kits.<br \/>\nSo now we want to coat the outside of our chicken breasts with the fried onion pieces.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m just going to use a little bit of egg, the whole egg as a binder.<br \/>\nNothing fancy, nothing amazing.<br \/>\nSo we\u2019ll have that ready.<br \/>\nAnd we\u2019re also going to have our bacon ready.<br \/>\nNow, you know, these are pretty small so we could probably get away with just 2 weaved bacon, but I\u2019m going to, you know, kind of\u2026 it\u2019s a Super Bowl and it\u2019s kind of a big thing, so I want to make these as delightful as possible.<br \/>\nSo how are we going to do this?<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to take one of our chicken breasts.<br \/>\nHave your onion pieces ready.<br \/>\nAnd basically, I just want to give this a coat on the top and then I want to get my chicken breast top good and coated.<br \/>\nAnd then I want to place that on my bacon weave.<br \/>\nAnd then we\u2019re going to close this up.<br \/>\nPinning is optional with a toothpick.<br \/>\nBut I think I\u2019m going to be in pretty good shape or not, and that is what we\u2019re looking for.<br \/>\nOkay, let\u2019s do this one more time.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to dip it in our egg wash.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to dip it in our onion.<br \/>\nAnd we\u2019re going to put it on our bacon weave.<br \/>\nAnd then we\u2019re just going to wrap all this up.<br \/>\nSo I\u2019ve four made, one was requested with no bacon.<br \/>\nSo that\u2019s where we\u2019re at on that.<br \/>\nNow, if you have a little bit of leftover fried onion pieces, go ahead and sprinkle that on top of the bacon and everything.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s just going to add more flavor to it.<br \/>\nYou know, it\u2019s not going to stay crisp because there\u2019s going to be a lot of oil and grease that\u2019s going to be absorbed in these.<br \/>\nBut we\u2019re looking for that flavor of the onion.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s get these in the smoker.<br \/>\nSo get your smoker up to 225 degrees.<br \/>\nThis is also a good time to run a remote thermometer cable through your smoker so you can insert it into your chicken.<br \/>\nNow, how long will this take?<br \/>\nIt depends on the thickness of your chicken.<br \/>\nIt could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half honestly.<br \/>\nYou just have to cook it until it reaches 165 degrees internal temperature.<br \/>\nAlright.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s get our chicken breast on there.<br \/>\nI did like to get some of this [inaudible]<br \/>\nNow, obviously, the one without any bacon\u2019s going to cook a lot faster than the other ones.<br \/>\nOkay, these have been in here exactly an hour and a half.<br \/>\nThey\u2019ve reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.<br \/>\nI pulled off the smaller piece earlier because that got done.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s quicker.<br \/>\nBut you got to take a look at this.<br \/>\nLook at that.<br \/>\nThose look fantastic.<br \/>\nI\u2019m just going to bare-hand these.<br \/>\nOh my Gosh, look at that color.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s cut one open and see how we did.<br \/>\nHopefully, mine is not too dull, that crunchy onion top and the gooey\u2026<br \/>\nWow.<br \/>\nLook at that.<br \/>\nThat gooey cheese is just to die for.<br \/>\nAlright.<br \/>\nWell, there you have it, my bacon wrapped chicken cordon bleu smoked in the Camp Chef 18 inch Smoke Vault for Super Bowl Sunday.<br \/>\nOozy, gooey, crispy, rich bacon flavor\u2026 I mean this is to die for.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s give this a try.<br \/>\nI got to tell you the chicken is so tender and it\u2019s moist.<br \/>\nAnd you know what it\u2019s like when it\u2019s got bacon grease dripping over it.<br \/>\nThe bacon\u2019s just super accentuated by the smoke and a crispy onion on the top really makes it just pop.<br \/>\nYou get a little bit of the cheese flavor.<br \/>\nI imagine the deeper I cut into that, the more cheese I\u2019m going to get in the ham, I\u2019m going to get out of that.<br \/>\nMan, this is a win.<br \/>\nSuper Bowl knockout, man.<br \/>\nGive this a try.<br \/>\nI\u2019ll see you when I see
