Prepare the grill.<\/div>\n<div>2. On a grill stone, place the hot dog buns and toast lightly. Remove and set aside.<\/div>\n<div>3. On the same grill stone or a skillet, pour the butter. Add the shallots and garlic, saute until fragrant.<\/div>\n<div>4. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with paprika, pepper and salt. Stir and allow them to cook till they are opaque.<\/div>\n<div>5. Once the shrimp are almost cooked, pour the vanilla and wine, allow the flavors to blend.<\/div>\n<div>6. Place a toasted hot dog bun on the plate and spread with mayonnaise blend. Place some salad greens and the shrimp on the bun as shown in the video.<\/div>\n<div>7. Everything Outdoors show, I hope you try this at home.<br \/>\nHey, everyone, what I have for you today is a takeoff on the classic shrimp roll.<br \/>\nAnd this is a McCormick recipe.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve adapted just a little bit.<br \/>\nBut I\u2019m going to cook it on the Island Grillstone.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to be using a vanilla extract from Lagrima which is just kill or killer stuff.<br \/>\nAnd of course, shrimp.<br \/>\nAnd what could be better on Super Bowl Sunday washed out by delicious beer of course.<br \/>\nBefore we get cooking you want to make sure that you preheat your Island Grillstone.<br \/>\nIf you don\u2019t have one, well, get one.<br \/>\nBut you could use a griddle or a skillet for this also.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s go over our simple ingredients.<br \/>\nYou\u2019ll need 8 New England-style hot dog rolls.<br \/>\nTypically, these are split right on the top and you open them up.<br \/>\nOtherwise, just get them already pre-split like that.<br \/>\n3 tablespoons of butter, softened.<br \/>\n1 tablespoon of olive oil.<br \/>\n2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots.<br \/>\n1 tablespoon or 1.5 tablespoons finely chopped garlic.<br \/>\n1 pound of shrimp.<br \/>\nNow, this is not a pound obviously.<br \/>\nBut you want them peeled, deveined and then cut right in half so they are pretty thin.<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon of paprika.<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon salt.<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon of black ground pepper.<br \/>\n2 tablespoons of dried sherry or white wine.<br \/>\n1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.<br \/>\nAnd what I\u2019m using here is Lagrima Pure Vanilla Extract and this is just knockout stuff.<br \/>\nIf you haven\u2019t tried this, you need to.<br \/>\nSo to season your rolls, they suggest a 1\/4 cup of mayonnaise.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m not a big, big mayonnaise fan.<br \/>\nSo what I did is I doctored mine up a little bit.<br \/>\nI have maybe 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, added some paprika, some black pepper and some salt, and a little bit of olive oil.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s going to be my season spread for the rolls.<br \/>\nAnd then you\u2019ll need some nice, fresh veggie green, small organic leaves like this, lettuce leaves will be perfect.<br \/>\nSo this recipe is going to cook pretty darned fast.<br \/>\nMake sure you have all your ingredients ready and, you know, your set to cook because it pop, pop, pop, pop, goes quick.<br \/>\nSo the first thing we\u2019re going to do here is toast our rolls in the Island Grillstone.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s absolutely perfect for this.<br \/>\nJust a couple of minutes on each side.<br \/>\nGive them a flip.<br \/>\nNice.<br \/>\nToast them as much as you want.<br \/>\nI just want a light toasting on mine.<br \/>\nSo you\u2019ve got them toasted to how you want them.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s start cooking.<br \/>\nNow, make sure your Grillstone or your skillet or your griddle is absolutely just flat as you can possibly get it.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to start with adding some butter, shallots, and our garlic.<br \/>\nAnd we\u2019re just going to cook this until, you know, gets fragrant.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s time to add our shrimp.<br \/>\nLovely little bastes, paprika, pepper, more salt.<br \/>\nStart cooking.<br \/>\nNow, we\u2019re going to cook this until they are no longer opaque and they are going to be translucent.<br \/>\nOkay, let this cook up.<br \/>\nSo everything\u2019s cooked up nicely, just a little bit before completely done now I\u2019m going to add my vanilla.<br \/>\nOh, that vanilla smells amazing.<br \/>\nAnd a white wine.<br \/>\nGet those flavors blended and melted for a second.<br \/>\nThat one wants to stay off the grill.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to serve these up.<br \/>\nOkay, let\u2019s serve one of these up and try it out.<br \/>\nA bit of our mayonnaise here, our mayonnaise concoction.<br \/>\nSome of our fresh little salad greens, lot of shallots and garlic.<br \/>\nThat is upside down but it\u2019s perfect.<br \/>\nAlright, before we try that let\u2019s fire up a little Henry Weinhard\u2019s Private Reserve.<br \/>\nFrosted mug.<br \/>\nYou haven\u2019t tried this before.<br \/>\nIt is a really, really nice mugger.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s see how we did.<br \/>\nOkay.<br \/>\nOh my Gosh.<br \/>\nThis is one tempting [inaudible].<br \/>\nOh my God.<br \/>\nJust flavors of the shrimp, the white wine and the vanilla pulled through at the last minute.<br \/>\nIt just met lingering garlic and charlottes in there\u2026 charlottes\u2026 no charlotte.. shallots, of course, tossing it down.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s it.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s perfect pairing.<br \/>\nHey, Super Bowl Sunday.<br \/>\nGame on.<br \/>\nTry this out.<br \/>\nI think you\u2019re really going to like it because I
