sliced<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves, minced<br \/>\n2 green onions, diced<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maple Pecan Pancakes<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1 cup pancake mix<br \/>\nwater<br \/>\n1\/3 cup maple syrup<br \/>\n1 cup chopped pecans<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fresh Herb and Goat cheese Frittata<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5 eggs<br \/>\n4 oz goat cheese<br \/>\n1 green onion, diced<br \/>\ncapers<br \/>\nHalf & Half<br \/>\nThyme, Oregano, Marjoram and chives<br \/>\nsalt<br \/>\npepper<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Video Transcript:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Presenter:<br \/>\nHey, everyone, today I\u2019m going to show you that the KettlePizza accessory is not just for pizzas on the Cooking Everything Outdoors show.<br \/>\nGary House with the outdoor cook Cooking Everything Outdoors show, I hope you try this at home.<br \/>\nSo it\u2019s Sunday morning I\u2019m going to make a little Sunday brunch for me and the Mrs.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m going to be doing that on my KettlePizza unit.<br \/>\nWhat I\u2019m going to be making is basically some breakfast potatoes.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to be making frittata.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m going to be making a maple pecan pancake.<br \/>\nSo for our breakfast potatoes let\u2019s just go over the ingredients real quick.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s really simple.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to make enough for 2.<br \/>\nSo I have 2 of these oval trays.<br \/>\nI hope you can see that in the shadows here.<br \/>\n2 russet baked potatoes, sliced.<br \/>\nI have some cheddar cheese.<br \/>\nGarlic salt with a little bit of parsley in it.<br \/>\nI have a yellow onion.<br \/>\n2 cloves of garlic.<br \/>\nAnd then some green onions.<br \/>\nAnd basically, the green onion and the cheddar cheese is the top at the end.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s going to melt down in the potatoes.<br \/>\nSo to get things going, it\u2019s pretty simple, I just want to take my little trays or boats or whatever you want to call them, and I want to give them a little bit of a spray with cooking oil.<br \/>\nAnd then I will take my potatoes.<br \/>\nAnd then what I want to slices and you\u2019ve seen me do this when I\u2019ve made these potatoes in the fire pit, it\u2019s very simple, very similar to that.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m looking for about just under a 1\/4 inch.<br \/>\nI don\u2019t want them really, really huge.<br \/>\nAnd the thicker they are, the longer they\u2019re going to take to bake.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019d sure like to have my Sunday brunch before it\u2019s dinnertime.<br \/>\nFor our yellow onion I want to do basically the same thing that I did with the potato.<br \/>\nBut I\u2019m going to be using half slices with my onion.<br \/>\nOkay, so let take and slice this in half.<br \/>\nAnd basically what I want to get out of this is\u2026I sliced it the wrong\u2026 oh well.<br \/>\nSo what I\u2019m going to do is just get some ringlets out of this to go between my potato slices.<br \/>\nSo, on the garlic I\u2019m just looking for a mince on the garlic.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s build these.<br \/>\nSo I\u2019ve got my tray and I just want to take some of my potato, layer it, little onion, layer it, little onion, and layer some onion and layer potato, onion, etcetera, etcetera.<br \/>\nI think you get the idea.<br \/>\nAnd something very similar to that.<br \/>\nAnd what I want to do is I want to get a little garlic down in there also.<br \/>\nNow I want to take some of my garlic salt and I\u2019m going to just drizzle that over there, a good pinch on each one.<br \/>\nAnd I forgot to mention that I\u2019m going to be putting black pepper, coarse ground fresh black pepper on there.<br \/>\nAnd now that\u2019s going to go into our pizza oven.<br \/>\nSo now I need to get my potato dish into the pizza kettle.<br \/>\nNow, typically to move things in and out I just use a pizza peel.<br \/>\nThis works really, really well for sliding things in and out.<br \/>\nBut, you know, to put this in there and to shuffle it in there can lead to a little bit of accident.<br \/>\nSo what I did is I made up some hooks here and I just put some file handles on, some 1\/4 inch aluminum rod, bend it to a curve.<br \/>\nYou can buy these.<br \/>\nThey are readily available.<br \/>\nBut it makes it easier for getting stuff in and out of the pizza kettle here.<br \/>\nAnd so, I\u2019m just going to push my potatoes in there like so.<br \/>\nAnd then from this point I can easily manipulate my dish to where I want it and I want it somewhat towards the back.<br \/>\nGet them about 400 degrees Fahrenheit.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s going to give me a nice baking temperature in there.<br \/>\nThese are probably going to cook, oh, 25-35 minutes at least to get to where I want.<br \/>\nSo our potatoes have been cooking, oh, 15 minutes, maybe 20 minutes, so they are roughly halfway, maybe a little bit past halfway done.<br \/>\nTo maintain my temperature I\u2019ve added a few more charcoal briquettes in there to keep that temperature going for the length of the cook.<br \/>\nAnd now I want to get my maple pecan pancakes going.<br \/>\nSo the first thing I want to do is give my little cast iron cooking utensils a nice coat of spray oil.<br \/>\nAnd then I\u2019m just using a readymade pancake batter that you just add water to.<br \/>\nAdd the water to the consistency that you need.<br \/>\nI have about 1 cup of batter here.<br \/>\nAnd that is too much water, but this will thicken it up.<br \/>\nAbout a 1\/3 of a cup of all-natural maple syrup.<br \/>\nThis is just going to accent it.<br \/>\nAnd then I like a lot of pecans.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s entirely up to you how many you want in there.<br \/>\nI have about a cup here.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m going to just add them until I think I have enough.<br \/>\nAnd then we will pour our batter in to our baking dishes about halfway.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m actually going to put these in now to start baking.<br \/>\nI just wanted to give you a little inside peek.<br \/>\nI don\u2019t know if you can see it.<br \/>\nIt might be too dark in there.<br \/>\nBut I have my pancake batter up towards the front and then in the back I have my potatoes that are cooking and coming along nicely.<br \/>\nAnd this little tool that I have made makes it really easy to move things around as I need to.<br \/>\nOur potatoes are almost done.<br \/>\nOur maple pecan pancakes are in there and they\u2019ve risen up really, really nice.<br \/>\nSo a few minutes before my potatoes are done and I want to get my fresh herb goat cheese frittata together.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m going to be using 5 nice fresh eggs, some fresh goat cheese which I really love.<br \/>\nSome green onion.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to put some cappers in there for just a little bit of a bite.<br \/>\nLittle bit of half & half.<br \/>\nAnd then my fresh herbs which I just picked.<br \/>\nI have some thyme, some oregano, marjoram, and chives.<br \/>\nAnd then I\u2019m just going to mince those up really fine and mix all of this together.<br \/>\nOh, with a little salt and pepper.<br \/>\nFirst things first, let\u2019s get our eggs going.<br \/>\nYou thought I was going to throw that on the side, huh?<br \/>\nThese are actually going in my compost pile.<br \/>\n5 eggs.<br \/>\nAnd let me get these blended together first.<br \/>\nAdd a little bit of half & half, maybe, I don\u2019t know, maybe 2 tablespoons.<br \/>\nNot a lot.<br \/>\nJust to give it some richness, some lift as it cooks.<br \/>\nI want a little bit of green onion in there.<br \/>\nNot a lot because I don\u2019t want to overpower it.<br \/>\nAnd our herbs\u2026herbs I have here, they\u2019re all on fine stems and I can just use almost all of it.<br \/>\nWe just want those rich herb flavors to come through.<br \/>\nAnd then I\u2019m going to take some of goat cheese.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll get that all blended up.<br \/>\nAnd that\u2019s just about what I\u2019m looking for.<br \/>\nSome salt and pepper.<br \/>\nOkay, I\u2019m going to set this aside for a few minutes and we will pull our potatoes and get those finished up.<br \/>\nSo in order to get these out easily I like to use my peel.<br \/>\nI\u2019ll set the peel at the base of my baking stone and then I\u2019ll just hook my tray and pull that out.<br \/>\nOkay.<br \/>\nAnd now what I want to do real quickly is just sprinkle my green onions over the top.<br \/>\nAnd then a nice, good helping of extra sharp cheddar cheese, which I like on my potatoes.<br \/>\nYou could use whatever you want on yours.<br \/>\nAnd it\u2019s just the matters and depends on your personal taste.<br \/>\nBut this is what I\u2019m rolling with.<br \/>\nOkay.<br \/>\nCheesed up and I want to get those back in there and finish cooking.<br \/>\nAnd really all that is, is a matter of our cheese melting at this point and get a quick look at our pancakes.<br \/>\nAnd, oh, yeah, you can see how those have risen up nicely.<br \/>\nLooking good.<br \/>\nGet that back in there to finish baking.<br \/>\nOnly a few more minutes on those.<br \/>\nSo potatoes are just about done, really ready.<br \/>\nAnd what I\u2019m using for the frittatas is a nice round cast iron cookware tray.<br \/>\nI\u2019m looking for about 1\/2 this mixture in each container.<br \/>\nSo now I want to pull my potatoes.<br \/>\nLook at that.<br \/>\nPotatoes are done.<br \/>\nSo we pulled out the maple pecan pancake cake and just absolutely perfect.<br \/>\nIt smells incredible.<br \/>\nI can smell that maple syrup coming through.<br \/>\nAnd I believe our frittatas are ready.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s get those out.<br \/>\nOh, look at that.<br \/>\nWow.<br \/>\nThat turned out spectacular.<br \/>\nNot that I had any doubts.<br \/>\nWowzers.<br \/>\nOne more thing, drinks.<br \/>\nI have some fresh nectarines that I have peeled and diced up.<br \/>\nSome fresh orange juice with pop.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to put about a 1\/2 a cup of orange juice.<br \/>\nAnd this is a cranberry blackberry, 100% juice.<br \/>\nAnd we\u2019re just going to go to the top of the nectarines with that and then, of course, vodka.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m just going to get\u2026oh I don\u2019t know\u2026a good shot in there.<br \/>\nThere is my morning breakfast blend, maple pecan, pancakes, fresh herbed goat cheese frittata and my cheesy blend potatoes.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re cooking.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re eating.<br
