minced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 red bell pepper, quartered<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tbs Cholula Chili Garlic Hot Sauce (optional)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tube of large biscuits or make from scratch<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 eggs<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">8 slices of sharp chedar cheese<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 tsp coase sea salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Use Island Grillstone, skillet or griddle &#8211; preheat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Saute white onions, green onions and garlic.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Set onions aside to cool.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Roast red bell peppers.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place red bell peppers in plastic bag to steam, 10 mins.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Peal skin off red bell peppers, set aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Mix sausage, onion mixture and Cholula sauce.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Form into patties about 3- 4 inches across.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Grill till done.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Grill eggs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Bake beautiful morning.<br \/>\nFootball starting in a couple of hours.<br \/>\nI\u2019m as always hungry.<br \/>\nSo I\u2019m going to whip up some breakfast for you guys on the grill, we\u2019re talking breakfast sandwiches on the Cooking Everything Outdoors show.<br \/>\nGary House with the outdoor cook Cooking Everything Outdoors show, I hope you try this at home.<br \/>\nBreakfast sandwiches almost from scratch.<br \/>\nI say almost because we\u2019re going to use cheddar biscuits but you can make your biscuits from scratch and I think that\u2019d be really cool.<br \/>\nIn fact, the first time I did this breakfast, that\u2019s exactly what I did.<br \/>\nKeeping it as simple as possible.<br \/>\nLet me go through the ingredients with you real fast.<br \/>\nOf course, you know, cheddar biscuits, big biscuits, big biscuits.<br \/>\nCountry sausage, this already has some spices already mixed in it but we\u2019re going to add a few more things.<br \/>\nI love green onion in my country sausage so I\u2019ll be adding that.<br \/>\nSome regular white onion.<br \/>\nNice assortment of garlic.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s in our sausage.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to be adding some Cholula, Cholula hot sauce.<br \/>\nThis is the chili and garlic version.<br \/>\nI\u2019d be topping off my country sausage patties with some coarse ground salt, coarse ground black pepper and coarse sea salt.<br \/>\nAnd egg.<br \/>\nCheddar cheese.<br \/>\nAnd the roasted red bell pepper.<br \/>\nNow first thing we\u2019re going to do to get this recipe going is I want to saute my green onions, my white onions and my garlic because I\u2019m going to be mixing that into the sausage.<br \/>\nI want to do that first because I want to let them cool down before I put it in the sausage and during that process we\u2019ll be doing our biscuits.<br \/>\nNow I got to tell you this recipe will work great on a griddle or in a skillet.<br \/>\nI\u2019m using the Island Grillstone, my go-to appliance so I\u2019ve been preheating that up for about 15-20 minutes now and it\u2019s ready to go.<br \/>\nMine\u2019s already nicely seasoned, so I won\u2019t be needing to add any oils at this point.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s get this started.<br \/>\nWhite onions first, they\u2019re going to take a little bit longer.<br \/>\nOur onions are starting to become a little translucent.<br \/>\nI want to get my red bell peppers on here because I\u2019m going to start roasting those a little bit.<br \/>\nI\u2019ll just put those towards the outside face down.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll get that going that way.<br \/>\nNow time to add the green onions and garlic.<br \/>\nThose are going to cook pretty quick.<br \/>\nAnd again, this is just to get it done ahead of time.<br \/>\nLots of green onions.<br \/>\nThis is probably, if I remember right, 5 green onions that I cut up.<br \/>\nMight be a little overkill but I really like the flavor of green onions in my country sausage.<br \/>\nAnd now the garlic.<br \/>\nI just got to love this smell.<br \/>\nI don\u2019t know what it is about onions.<br \/>\nIn the morning I\u2019m going to add this with some biscuits, some sausage, some cheese.<br \/>\nI bet you\u2019re kind of wishing you were in my neighbor right now, huh.<br \/>\nSo right now I have the onions about where one I want them.<br \/>\nI don\u2019t want them cook so that they are dried out.<br \/>\nSo I\u2019m going to be adding this back into the sausage.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s get this out of here and let it cool down.<br \/>\nJust beautiful!<br \/>\nGot some nice caramelization going on there.<br \/>\nIt smells absolutely incredible.<br \/>\nI think this is going to add some nice flavor to our breakfast sausage that we\u2019re going to be making here.<br \/>\nOkay, that\u2019s off.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s take a quick look at our peppers, turning up nicely.<br \/>\nBelieve me this is hot.<br \/>\nToo hot.<br \/>\nOkay, that\u2019s going to be nice.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll get this softened up a bit longer.<br \/>\nOkay, this stone is really, really hot right now.<br \/>\nSo I\u2019m going to cook this a little bit longer.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to let my onions cool down, then we\u2019re going to put our biscuits on and let the stone cool down just a bit because it\u2019s screaming hot too.<br \/>\nSo be right back.<br \/>\nI have my red bell peppers where I want them right now.<br \/>\nAnd I\u2019m going to put them in a little Ziploc baggie here to continue to steam that I can get that tough skin off in a little bit and that\u2019s it, that\u2019ll help expedite that whole process and then we\u2019ll peel that off and have nothing but really yummy good flavor that comes from red bell peppers on top of our breakfast sandwich.<br \/>\nNow it\u2019s time to get our cheddar biscuits on the grill.<br \/>\nThis is supposed to take about 14 minutes to cook at about 350 degrees.<br \/>\nI\u2019m certainly running well over that.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to guess I\u2019m at 4, 4.5 so they are going to cook pretty darn quick and I might get a toasty bottom.<br \/>\nI\u2019m totally okay with that.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s get these out and going.<br \/>\nReally nothing spectacular here.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to have more biscuits than I have breakfast for.<br \/>\nSo I have to make up some gravy later.<br \/>\nAlright, let those cook for a little bit.<br \/>\nWhile the biscuits are cooking let\u2019s mix up our sausage.<br \/>\nThere\u2019s not much to this whole process.<br \/>\nI\u2019m just going to add my green onion, onion and garlic mixture in there, as much of that in there as possible.<br \/>\nWorking around the flies again.<br \/>\nThey are absolutely driving me crazy today.<br \/>\nAnd I add my garlic, chili garlic sauce to this.<br \/>\nHow much, add entirely is up to you.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to say about that much.<br \/>\nI\u2019m guessing that\u2019s probably about 2 tablespoons.<br \/>\nIt might be hot, might not be hot.<br \/>\nNow we just need to get in there and mix this up, so.<br \/>\nBiscuits that I\u2019ve got going right now, the cheddar biscuits, smell absolutely incredible.<br \/>\nIn spite of the probably burnt bottoms I\u2019m going to have on there, but that\u2019s okay.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll just call that a layer of flavor.<br \/>\nSausage is mixed up.<br \/>\nThe salt and pepper I\u2019m going to put on the outside after I\u2019ve made the patties.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s make some patties now.<br \/>\nAnd keep in mind that the size of the biscuit is maybe about 2.5 inches.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s get this mixed up and we\u2019re going to get a little bit of shrinkage.<br \/>\nI really want decent size patty.<br \/>\nI\u2019m looking at probably about that size right there.<br \/>\nYou see all that onion in there, I tell you what, that\u2019s going to get some powerful flavor to this.<br \/>\nGoing to make up about 6 fairly even size patties.<br \/>\nI have a little bit leftover.<br \/>\nOkay, starting to burn, I got to get them off.<br \/>\nOh, look at that.<br \/>\nUse my nose, I can tell.<br \/>\nSo I got to get them on this.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re in panic mode here.<br \/>\nGet this off.<br \/>\nAnd move it over.<br \/>\nGet our biscuits off.<br \/>\nYeah, a little burn on the bottom.<br \/>\nSo lesson there is, don\u2019t get your griddle where it\u2019s stone too hot because you\u2019re going to get some burn parts.<br \/>\nAnd that is not good but it\u2019s easily resolved because I\u2019m just going to slice them off the bottom and be done.<br \/>\nScrape that off.<br \/>\nAlright, get our sausage patties on.<br \/>\nThey are some good eatings.<br \/>\nOop, forgot my salt and pepper.<br \/>\nLet me have some nice crust on there.<br \/>\nNow we got it.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s give these a flip.<br \/>\nThey smell phenomenal.<br \/>\nOh yeah.<br \/>\nThat is what I\u2019m talking about.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s pull these sausages off.<br \/>\nOh nice.<br \/>\nOkay, so basically what I did here\u2019s after I cut my burnt bottom of my biscuit off I\u2019m just using the top and a top.<br \/>\nWhy not?<br \/>\nBeautiful country sausage all seasoned up nicely right there.<br \/>\nAlright, so sausage is done.<br \/>\nNow what I want to do is I want to get my cheese on there and start melting that.<br \/>\nNice big chunk of cheese.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re not on a diet.<br \/>\nSo we\u2019ll get that going.<br \/>\nWhile that\u2019s slowly melting on there I\u2019m going to fry up some eggs on the Island Grillstone.<br \/>\nNow ideally I would have one of those cool little egg rings but it\u2019s not going to happen.<br \/>\nFour eggs, Island Grillstone, lot of flies.<br \/>\nLittle salt and pepper.<br \/>\nNow how you cook your eggs is entirely up to you.<br \/>\nIn order for these to be eaten by my family they\u2019re going to have to be basically over hard, cooks it very well sunny side up, over easy, works fantastic.<br \/>\nI\u2019ll let those cook.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to just leave the lid off right now.<br \/>\nI bet you thought that those are just going to this squishing through that stone, no problem.<br \/>\nYou got to see, this is really cool.<br \/>\nAlright, so what I did I just kind of separated the eggs with my spatula so they are about the right size.<br \/>\nNow we got to flip them.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s enough, about a boom.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s picked up lot of the seasoning from the sausage.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s going to give that unique color on the bottom and flavor.<br \/>\nOkay, some minute more, going to get those harden up.<br \/>\nFor our personal preferences you may want to go with it right there like that yolk running all over the place.<br \/>\nActually I kind of do myself but got to feed the family.<br \/>\nLook at that.<br \/>\nI\u2019m telling you, this is the way to go.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve been doing this out camping.<br \/>\nWhew!<br \/>\nHow fantastic this would taste.<br \/>\nSmell across the campground.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s going to be anybody\u2019s bacon and eggs.<br \/>\nGet a swap of bell pepper on there.<br \/>\nSize them up.<br \/>\nOh man.<br \/>\nOkay, that there, despite the burnt bottom, is a breakfast sandwich to die for anywhere, anytime, anyplace.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s give it a shot.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s huge.<br \/>\nHmm, wow.<br \/>\nHmm!<br \/>\nThe biscuit buttery and flaky.<br \/>\nThe sausage, you know, we got that crust that that was built up from the Island Grillstone, some salt and pepper and the chili garlic sauce add some real nice heat to it.<br \/>\nThe egg is done perfectly and that red bell pepper adds it just a slight sweet accent to it.<br \/>\nI got to tell you got to try this.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s really, really
