OK, it's not the best but I did like it! The next evolution for me was steamed asparagus, that was a big improvement.\u00a0Steaming kept\u00a0the asparagus's\u00a0unique\u00a0taste, some crunch and it actually retains it's original shape. I would even eat it just like that.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around the 21st year of my exalted life I bought my first barbecue. It was a Weber 21 1\/2&#8243; kettle complete with a hardbound Weber cook book that I still have. Weber introduced me to barbecued vegetables and deserts. My neighbors and I used to have these mini barbecue one up manships every weekend. Basically, we would cook our best dish and then walk around to everyone barbecue and compare. Very serious stuff!<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I have tried many different recipes for asparagus but I seem to always go back to cooking it in foil on the barbecue. Maybe old habits die hard but I really like the potency of the flavors seal in that pouch, I could make a meal of just asparagus and be quite happy. Here is an asparagus\u00a0dish I cooked last night. Give it a try!<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<h2>Foiled wrapped Asparagus Recipe<\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1- bunch of asparagus, clean with the ends snapped off.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">3- large mushrooms<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">3 &#8211; green onions, ends trimed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">3 &#8211; cloves of garlic, sliced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">2 &#8211; tbls of capers with juice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1 &#8211; tsp of &#8220;McCormick California style Lemon Pepper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1 &#8211; pinch of salt (optional).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1 &#8211; tbsp of olive oil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Medium\" title=\"Foil Wrapped Asparagus Ingredients\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/cooking-outdoors\/2584485483\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Foil Wrapped Asparagus Ingredients\" alt=\"Foil Wrapped Asparagus Ingredients\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3187\/2584485483_87ac0b361c.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Preparation:<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Lay prepared ingredients (asparagus, mushrooms, green onion) on sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil large enough to completely wrap up everything.
