You know, Roasted Turkey, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, perhaps with cranberry sauce to sweeten things up.<\/p>\n<p>That is how I think of it as well, big bird roasting in the oven, sides cooking in various pots and pans, savory smells wafting through the house, me missing the game \u2026 again.<\/p>\n<p>Just imagine trying to pull this off at the game! A perfect solution for the big game tailgate party with your friends or any event that requires simplicity to maximize your family time.<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">20 oz ground turkey meat<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">8oz ground sausage<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 package of onion soup mix<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tbs Dalmatian sage<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp ground rainbow pepper<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 egg<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 cup bread crumbs<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 cup sweeten dried cranberries<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup ready made stuffing mix<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 c mashed potatoes<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cast iron loaf pan or equivalent<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">wax paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Mix together the ground turkey, ground sausage, onion soup mix, sage, pepper, egg and bread crumbs until well blended.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spread meatloaf mixture on a sheet of wax paper into a rectangular shape no wider than your loaf pan and about 12\u201d long.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spread the cranberries onto the center of the meatloaf in a line across the shortest width.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spread the dressing on top of the cranberries.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Carefully roll one side of the meatloaf towards the center using the wax paper to help keep the meat together.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Roll the other side across to meet at the top of the loaf.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Gently press the seams together to make a round log with the stuffing and cranberries in the center. No need to close up the ends.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spray loaf pan with a light coating of spray oil.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place the meatloaf into the loaf pan, sen side down and press into place so the loaf is fairly flat on the top.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spread your mashed potatoes over top top of the meatloaf to cover.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Bake at 350\u00b0 F till the center reaches 165\u00b0 F.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Serve with your favorite vegetable side and gravy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Note: If using a grill, set it up \/>\nPresenter: Thanksgiving dinner in one bite, Thanksgiving meatloaf, yup it\u2019s true, I\u2019ve put a Thanksgiving dinner into a meatloaf and it took a little while to get it right, but I think I nailed this recipe.<br \/>\nIn fact, it\u2019s so good in my opinion and Tailgater Magazine\u2019s opinion that they featured it in their magazine in the November-December issue and that is another reason why I\u2019m sharing this video with you now because I want to show you exactly how easy it is to make and how wonderful it is to enjoy.<br \/>\nPreparation and equipment wise, you really don\u2019t need that much.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to be using the Camp Chef outdoor oven.<br \/>\nYou can use your indoor oven.<br \/>\nYou can use a gas grill or a charcoal grill, any of those will work just fine.<br \/>\nWhat you have to keep in mind is that we\u2019re baking.<br \/>\nSo no matter what you\u2019re using no direct bottom heat so you don\u2019t burn this.<br \/>\nI\u2019m also going to be using a loaf pan.<br \/>\nAnd this is cast iron, which I really, really like and I think it imparts a nice traditional flavor to it.<br \/>\nTraditional is probably not the right word, but it does impart a flavor that you just don\u2019t get from the tin ones.<br \/>\nNow it doesn\u2019t take a lot of ingredients to put this together, but it\u2019s best if you have either some leftovers or take a few minutes to prepare this.<br \/>\nSo I have some stuffing that I\u2019ve prepared and some mashed potatoes.<br \/>\nAnd now I\u2019m going to show you how to put all these together.<br \/>\nIngredients-wise this is really simple.<br \/>\nYou\u2019re going to need some ground turkey.<br \/>\nYou\u2019ll need some stuffing ready to go, some breadcrumbs, some dried cranberries, mashed potatoes, onion soup mix, some Dalmatian sage, some ground pepper and 1 egg.<br \/>\nThe exact ingredients and measurements will be in the about section below or on my website.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll set aside the mashed potatoes and the stuffing.<br \/>\nSo I want to add my ground turkey, my breadcrumbs, my onion soup mix, Dalmatian sage, my pepper and 1 egg.<br \/>\nSo we\u2019re now just need to get in here and mix all these up.<br \/>\nYou really got to get in there with your hands.<br \/>\nNow that this is mixed together thoroughly, we want to lay out some wax paper.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll get the loaf out.<br \/>\nWhat we want to do is we\u2019re going to form the loaf in a flat rectangle, approximately the width of our loaf pan.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s really important that you do it that way.<br \/>\nAnd we\u2019re looking for a rectangle, it\u2019s going to be about 6\u201d x 10\u201d would be a good estimate there.<br \/>\nThat might even go 12 inches.<br \/>\nNow we want to lay out our stuffing, which you\u2019re going to imagine this is going to be a big roll with the stuffing and the cranberry inside.<br \/>\nDoesn\u2019t have to be packed.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s about 1 cup right there.<br \/>\nNow we\u2019re going to take our cranberries and we\u2019re going to put a nice layer of those there.<br \/>\nNow these are dried and sweetened.<br \/>\nYou can get them unsweetened.<br \/>\nI actually like the little bit of sweetness, because it parallels the cranberry sauce.<br \/>\nThis is the tricky part.<br \/>\nWe need to get this in there in a roll.<br \/>\nSo what I like to do is I like to roll mine up and as best as possible get that seam pinched.<br \/>\nOnce we have it like that, you can very carefully flip it over so its seam\u2019s side down and remove your wax paper, and then give a final press to shape your loaf in there.<br \/>\nAnd this should be a good 3 quarters to 1 inch below flip.<br \/>\nJust like that.<br \/>\nPretty darned simple, right?<br \/>\nNow we need to put our final ingredient on and that\u2019s our mashed potatoes.<br \/>\nAnd I just pile them in there.<br \/>\nAnd you notice that I\u2019ve used red potatoes that I just love and I left the skins on which I just love.<br \/>\nYou can do the creamy white mashed potatoes, if you\u2019d like, with no skin.<br \/>\nThere is no requirement.<br \/>\nAnd that\u2019s it.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s basically what we\u2019re looking for.<br \/>\nYou can pretty these up as however you like.<br \/>\nOkay, now you want to put this into a 350-degree preheated oven.<br \/>\nThe important thing here is that you understand that we\u2019re cooking with, number one, turkey, and it\u2019s stuffed.<br \/>\nAnd those two ingredients combined together require an internal temperature of a 165 degrees Fahrenheit.<br \/>\nAnytime you stuff anything it has to be cooked to 165 to be safe.<br \/>\nSo I like to use a thermometer probe on mind and I\u2019m just going to judge as best I can and get that in there.<br \/>\nBaking time, until we hit 165 degrees, it should be about 45 minutes.<br \/>\nOkay, at about 58 minutes exactly, took a little bit longer.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s kind of cool outdoors, so that\u2019s going to happen.<br \/>\nI hit a 164 degrees and I want to pull it now.<br \/>\nLook at that.<br \/>\nThat is beautiful.<br \/>\nSo you\u2019re going to want to let this rest for a little while.<br \/>\n15 or 20 minutes would be just about right before we start slicing into it.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to get those juices redistributing back into it.<br \/>\nWhile that\u2019s happening I\u2019m going to whip up a little bit of gravy and we\u2019ll serve this bad boy up.<br \/>\nAnd I just got a little rustic gravy I made here, full lumps and everything, but for our purposes it\u2019s perfect.<br \/>\nAnd now we need to get in here and get us a good chunk of our Thanksgiving dinner and a meat loaf.<br \/>\nThe first slice is always a little challenging to get out.<br \/>\nAnd you can see the mashed potatoes there, the turkey, the stuffing, the cranberries.<br \/>\nAnd really, only thing you need now is a little bit of green beans and you\u2019ve got it.<br \/>\nSo if you\u2019re tailgating, if you\u2019re camping, if you\u2019re home alone, knock this bad boy out because it is full of great flavor, great taste, great bites.<br \/>\nIt tastes just like a
