today we\u2019re making a perfect side dish for any grilling adventure, Loaded Dutch Oven Potatoes on the Cooking Everything Outdoors show.<br \/>\n<strong>Announcer<\/strong>:<br \/>\nThe Cooking over at Klondike Brands to bring you this recipe.<br \/>\nThe potatoes that we\u2019re going to be using are Klondike Roses.<br \/>\nThese were introduced in 2002 and they are not genetically modified at all.<br \/>\nThey\u2019ve got a beautiful redskin and inside there\u2019s just a creamy, yellow texture, too, and they\u2019re perfect roasted, grilled mashed and even used in salad.<br \/>\nSo you\u2019re going to be seeing me using these a lot.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s go over the ingredients and we\u2019ll start cooking this.<br \/>\nIn order to make our recipe you\u2019re going to need 2 pounds of Klondike Rose potatoes and we\u2019re going to dice these up.<br \/>\nSo that\u2019s about 6 potatoes.<br \/>\n1\/2 a cup of butter, softened.<br \/>\n1\u00bd cups of cooked and crumbled bacon, separate those into two portions.<br \/>\nCouple of sour cream or so depending on your taste buds.<br \/>\n1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.<br \/>\n1\/4 cup green onion.<br \/>\nAnd 1\/2 a teaspoon of seasoning salt.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s it, not much to this, packs a lot of flavor though.<br \/>\nWhat I want to do is preheat my Dutch oven.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve got my coals already started.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to dump some of these out, so I\u2019d spread them around.<br \/>\nSo I want a ring around the top.<br \/>\nAnd we want a ring around the bottom.<br \/>\nSo it\u2019s 3, 6, 7, 8 coals on the bottom.<br \/>\n3, 4, 8, 12 coals on top.<br \/>\nSo let\u2019s start by doing a rough dice on these.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to leave the skin on.<br \/>\nThere\u2019s a lot of nutrients in the skin.<br \/>\nAnd people are too quick to peel them in my opinion.<br \/>\nLook at that beautiful gold color in there.<br \/>\nSo this is what 2 pounds of diced potatoes look like.<br \/>\nNow, let\u2019s get going on our recipe.<br \/>\nDutch oven\u2019s preheated.<br \/>\nNow, I\u2019m going to add my potatoes, my butter, my onions, my seasoning and 1\/2 the bacon.<br \/>\nFirst of all, add our butter, our onions, our seasoning, our potatoes.<br \/>\nThat nicely blended together.<br \/>\nOf course, 1\/2 our bacon.<br \/>\nCovered up and start cooking.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to check on this every 10 minutes or so, give it a little stir so we\u2019re not sticking too much.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re going to cook it till it\u2019s tender.<br \/>\nPotatoes are done.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s been about 45 minutes that I\u2019ve been cooking this.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve stirred it a couple of times to make sure it\u2019s not sticking.<br \/>\nThe smell\u2019s incredible.<br \/>\nOh wow.<br \/>\nLook at those potatoes.<br \/>\nLook at the color on those Klondike Roses, just beautiful.<br \/>\nMake sure they\u2019re ready.<br \/>\nNice and tender.<br \/>\nHot.<br \/>\nAbsolutely delicious.<br \/>\nNow we need to melt our cheese into this.<br \/>\nBut don\u2019t use all of it.<br \/>\nI\u2019m going to save a little bit for when we serve this up.<br \/>\nGive that a good mix.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s plate this up.<br \/>\nOf course, we\u2019re going to need a little bit more bacon.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ll need some more cheese.<br \/>\nNice top of sour cream on there, add more as needed.<br \/>\nAnd that, my friends, is a perfect side dish, Loaded Dutch Oven Potatoes using Klondike Rose potatoes from Klondike Brands.<br \/>\nGive it a try, take it to your next grilling adventure, try it camping.<br \/>\nI\u2019m thinking this might be pretty darned good with some eggs, too.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s it.<br \/>\nI will see you when I see
