Brodie,

Great question! I have the same problem and my only solution has been to clean it while its hot right after cooking with it. Don’t season it until you use it again. If you want to burn everything off you need to get it in a self cleaning oven for an hour, that should strip everything off. Then re-season it till your happy with the finish. If your not able to do that then try some apple cider vinegar/water as a cleaner when it’s hot, then let it soak for awhile. That should do the trick.

Glad to hear you love the videos!!!

Gary

I have one of these but its a camp chef model and I have some questions about cleaning. Since I first used this reversible grill/griddle, it has been sticky! I will put it in the oven and bake for 400f for an hour, and it comes out smooth, but once I cook in it again, it becomes sticky again. I have tried to burn it off on my camp chef stove before I cook on it, but it still comes out sticky. Can you give me some tips on how to get the sticky off of it, and not have it come back?

Thank you!
Brodie Moore

P.S. LOVE your videos!
