Rust is cosmetic? Then why can I See Huge rusted out sections through the propane side of my BBQ. The brackets to support heat shields are completely rusted away.

I used a canola cooking spray. Easy to get into all the tight spots.

You are not alone the 50/50 is a terribly made product and i seasoned it and everything covered it and it still rusted away and btw do NOT get the lowes extended warranty it wont cover it as they consider rust a cosmetic issue lol

If this product is real cast iron, then it should have lasted at least 5 to 10 years.
Very disappointed with this product and would never purchase again.
Beware consumers, just because they tell you its cast iron it does not mean it is
