It’s good how your vids and reviews get one to think. After I finished my comment/rant/story, I noticed you had a review on the grill daddy which I didn’t read, sorry,,,lol, but instead started to look for grill daddy vids on youtube and read other reviews about it and it seems to be a waste of money. It’s just another gadget. So I did a search of the WWW today and I found this which seems to be one of the better grate cleaners out there.Have a look….http://bbq.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=bbq&cdn=food&tm=64&f=00&su=p284.13.342.ip_&tt=3&bt=7&bts=7&zu=http%3A//www.thegreatscrape.com/

Had a bit of a scare last night. We were doing some steak on the grill. Everything was great and perfectly cooked to our tastes. Then all of a sudden as we were eating I feel something in my mouth, like a stem from one of the herbs that was used on the zucchini. Thanks to the God’s I chew my food slowly because what I found was a wire from the brush I used to clean the grate just prior to putting the food on the grill. There was a news story here where I live not long ago about a woman that had to go to the hospital to get a piece of wire taken out of the roof of her mouth because of a poorly made BBQ grate brush. I guess it’s time to get a new brush myself.

Now, Gary, this brings up an idea for a review for you to do. Brushes. Grate cleaning brushes. Pros and cons of different brushes. Or different methods of cleaning. One year I didn’t clean the grill once and used only heat to burn off the crud that builds up. Doesn’t really work…lol. Maybe one of your sponsors has got something they could give you to review for your viewers and followers. I’m now in the market for a good brush. Any suggestion? I go through at least 2 a year. Why? Because I can’t find anything that lasts. I don’t want to keep giving my money to these people that make the garbage we are kinda forced to buy because there’s nothing else. Even my local high end BBQ place has garbage for brushes. They will sell you a Q for $4000 but they give you a cheap piece of crap to clean your investment with.I’d gladly pay $30 to $40 for a brush that will last for a long time.
Wow! this is going far too long…lol. Part rant and part thanks for the vid…lol
